With our busy lives and so many engagements to tend to before a wedding, many of our brides decide to forgo the southern tradition of a bridal session but just wait until you see the kind of magic that can come to life when you do! We always encourage a bridal session if it is possible - it is a great opportunity to try your dress on and see how it will feel wearing it for a few hours - are there places it might need to be taken in or let out, for example! It is also a great way to do a trial run of your hair + makeup with the artists you've selected for that service as well as getting an idea of your bridal bouquet to see what it will look and feel like! We find that many of our brides who do take the time for the bridal session often have a few tweaks to their dress, their beauty service or their bouquet - sometimes all three need a little updating following the session! Getting comfortable with the camera and your photographer are also great benefits to a bridal session. You might find you are a little more relaxed on wedding day as you have practiced some of the "poses" you'll be asked to strike during your bridal session.

It doesn't happen often that you visit with a prospective client and things just immediately spark but the first time I spoke to Dallas, I knew that we were made for each other! I loved her classic design ideas, the fact that she wanted to host her closest family and friends at her family's farm and that keeping things casual and fun were her goals for wedding day. I knew we would make a great team to create some magic and we most certainly did!
I am excited to announce that we have a few office space options available in south College Station at Mills Park Circle! It has been a dream of mine to have a collaborative office space in our area and we've now got the opportunity to open up our space to other creatives in BCS! All Things Planned is currently joined by Rachel Driskell Photography + Tamara Menges Designs and we're looking to grow our little collective gathering of creative minds to others. We have dedicated desks available for lease as well as a private office suite! The Collective South is perfect for the creative entrepreneur who is looking to take the leap from working at home to working in an executive suite. Because we share the office spaces, it drives the cost down to make renting a space more affordable. We are now leasing our single, dedicated desks spaces at $300 per month or a private suite for $700 per month. Day passes to a cowork suite are available at $30 per day. All options include access to private conference rooms, utilities, internet + parking! You can drive right up to our suite and enjoy a shared coffee bar space and a private conference room to meet and greet your clients. Right off of Highway 6 and William D. Fitch Parkway, The Collective is surrounded by great eateries such as Blue Baker, Costa Vida, Mad Taco, RX Pizza and Casa do Brasil! So convenient + fun! Your own dedicated desk and area around are yours to decorate + personalize however you see fit. The private office can be decorated as you wish! A coffee bar and conference space means you can stop going to Starbucks to meet your clients! The conference room TV is equipped with Apple TV and a large whiteboard to share your ideas. Reach out if The Collective South might be a great fit for you!
//Amy Our very first wedding at The Gin was simply magnificent. Getting to spend the day with this couple, their incredible families and fun group of friends was an absolute joy. Elizabeth and her mom designed this wedding as a perfect complement to the industrial beauty of the historic space and the result was striking. It was simple yet sophisticated with cozy lounge spaces for guests to retreat for conversations and tons of design elements for them to admire from the appetizer displays to the bar - no stone was left unturned and the result was outstanding. Keep an eye out for this gorgeous wedding featured in the Fall/Winter issue of The Knot Texas! Until then, get a first glance at all the beauty below....
We planned for what felt like forever... I didn't think the day we worked so hard toward would ever make it but it finally did and all of the magic came to life that day in November at that ranch in Texas. Steph+Alex will forever be one of my favorite couples and this, their first day of marriage, was delightful. The rain came down in the days leading up to wedding day and, on the morning of the wedding we were fighting the cold, the wind, and the rain but we soldiered on and things came together beautifully. Stephanie+Alex's vision for a relaxed but refined hygge-inspired celebration was "to give courage, comfort, joy..." the true meaning of the Danish word. It was important to them that their guests feel welcomed and cared for during their stay in Brenham, Texas at Alex's family ranch not only for the wedding day but for the "Welcome to Texas" dinner that they hosted the night before. A post-wedding brunch followed in Downtown Brenham before guests departed the charming little town. All of the thoughtful details showed how much love the couple has not only for their guest but for each other. All of those details worked on together, as a team, is what I was so inspired by with this couple. Planning from Los Angeles, Stephanie+Alex only had a couple of in-person meetings with me here in Texas which meant most all of our meetings were via phone. The thing I will remember most is that those phone call meetings included them both - not just one - but both of them making decisions and providing input on their very special celebration. A celebration that I will not soon forget...
