Gin at Hidalgo Falls // Winter Juniper

We recently designed, styled and planned a beautiful winter shoot at the new Gin at Hidalgo Falls with a team of incredibly talented wedding pros! Shannon with Century Tree Productions wanted to do a shoot centered around Junipers so I was able to take that idea and run with it!

We thought it would be interesting to create a very light and minimal tablescape mixed with a dark and moody one all in the same space and see what would happen. The play on simplistic paired with a heavy design was delightful! You'll see the hints of Juniper in the invitation design, on the tables and even in the bride's floral crown. We wanted to infuse the Juniper but not overdo it....

We decided to host the shoot at the "new" Gin that is filled with rich Texas history. The industrial building has been revived into a beautiful space to celebrate and it was a perfect backdrop for the winter shoot. The shoot helped show prospective couples that this space works beautifully for light + airy as well as dark + warm designs and that you can even mix both!
