As much as we love designing + planning other people's weddings + events, it's fun to create something all our own; something we can have some fun with and breathe our own life into! We got to do just that a few weeks ago with this styled shoot we worked up for the 2015 Spring Bride's Guide {it's on stands now in B/CS so check it out!}. We had an absolute blast pulling in bold colors, rich florals and gorgeous models. It really doesn't get any better than that! I {Amy} have had this idea in the back of my mind for a few years now and finally got a chance to use my beloved Fiestaware, and really spin this entire shoot off of that! The "sweetheart table" we created using fiesta pieces - if you look close enough, you'll notice the floral "vases" are actually sugar + flour canisters from my very own Fiestaware collection! A lush garland on the backside of the lace runner created a little more "fluff" to the table and brought down to the table the outdoor elements all around. The adorable "Novio + Novia" signs were created by our intern, Kellen, and mirror the "Mr. + Mrs." signs that are trending so much in the wedding world right now. The "amor" sweets table features a paper flower garland, pan dulce + sugar cookies, and includes a pitcher filled with fabulous florals to top things off! The papel picado packs a punch of color above and below all the sweet fun. We pulled in some decor elements right from inside the Mexico cabin to make things more interesting and, of course, add a little more color! Our models totally brought the fiery yet romantic feel we wanted to create with this bold shoot and 7F was the perfect backdrop for it all. Post Oak Florist provided the. most. gorgeous. florals to soften things up and our lace linens from Details Party Rentals really helped bring in a touch of "bridal" to this shoot. Lastly, Southern Charm Photography captured the true essence of it all - love, color + FIESTA!!! We hope you enjoy stepping inside this fiesta shoot just as much as we enjoyed creating it!
